POLREC Training Open Call

The POLREC Training Open Call extends the application deadline until October 31

If you are an SME looking to get started in the field of recycling your plastic waste or to digitalise your process a great first step is to take a course or webinar in the area.

The POLREC Training Open Call can help you with this by providing financial support with grants of up to €1,460 to cover the expenses related to these training sessions.

This opportunity will give you valuable knowledge and practical skills to turn waste into valuable resources, setting your business on a path toward sustainability and innovation.

To apply to the Training Open Call, you only need to:

  1. Choose one of the 3 different sub-topics of the call:
    • Training on adopting innovative recycling methods
    • Training on adopting digital processes
    • Training on specific technical profiles related to polymer recycling
  2. Select the employee, or employees, that are going to carry out the training. An SME can make a maximum of 2 applications: either 2 of the same sub-topic (under the condition that each application concern to a different staff member) or 2 of different sub-topics (in this case, the employee or employees who take the course can be the same).

  3. Have the quotation from the training service provider (you can choose the one you want but you can also have a look to the list of reference service providers).

  4. Submit your application here: link

The application deadline has been extended to October 31st at 18:00 CET. More information can be found in the Guide for applicants, or you can contact info@clustermav.com.

POLREC General Assembly

On the 12th and 13th of September, the POLREC consortium held its General Assembly at the Clúster de Materials Avançats de Catalunya headquarters in Barcelona. The meeting brought together consortium members to review the project’s progress and outline the strategy to support SMEs in recycling their polymer waste and digitalize their processes.

In the agenda was the state of play from the different work packages and the preparation of the future events and open calls in the scope of the project.

A big thank you to the Clúster MAV team for the excellent hosting and organisation of the event, and to all the attending members for their valuable contributions!

The meeting was crucial in defining the future strategy of the project, which aims to support SMEs in the recycling of their polymer waste.
