Financial support to third parties

Results of the 1st Open Calls

POLREC project launched the first open calls for Innovation on the 1st of September. The objective was to support SMEs by financing access to mechanical recycling, digital tools and chemical recycling.

The consortium received 50 applications from 6 different countries (France, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Ireland and Sweden. 13 applications were rejected for not meeting the defined criteria for application and 12 companies were kept on a waiting list. The companies on the waiting list still have a chance to see their projects implemented depending on the results of the next open calls and the funds distributed.

25 companies were awarded after a meticulous analysis of the application by our internal experts. 13 companies were awarded to implement projects related to mechanical recycling, 4 companies were awarded to implement projects related to the implementation of digital tools and 8 companies were awarded to implement projects related to chemical recycling.
